We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use gabrieldiazcakedesigner.com with ease.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the internationally recognized standard, which also covers the Section 508 requirements.
What we have done
- A clear heading structure and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Image descriptions in English and Spanish.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
- Sufficient color contrast for text.
- Forms with labels and error messages that name the field to fix.
- Your device’s “reduce motion” setting is respected.
- An accessibility button on every page to enlarge text, turn on high contrast, underline links, use a more readable font and stop animations. Your preferences are saved only in your browser.
Known limitations
The “Request a Proposal” form is provided by HoneyBook, an outside service, and we cannot change its design. If you have difficulty using it, email info@gabrieldiazcakedesigner.com and we will take your request by email or phone. Content on Instagram and Facebook depends on those platforms’ accessibility.
Feedback and help
If you find a barrier or need information in another format, email info@gabrieldiazcakedesigner.com. Tell us the page and the problem, and we will reply as soon as possible.
Ongoing improvement
We review the site with automated tools and manual testing, and we fix the issues we find.
